| Post your favorites... board games, card games, and of course computer games.
I'll start off with my list...
Conquest of the Empire - board game, Roman conquest Axis & Allies - WWII board game, one of my all time favorites Shogun - Japanese feudal system board game
Poker... need I say more?
Dungeons & Dragons - RPG, the second printing of the game (Red & Blue boxes)... Yeah, I'm a geek for real.
Quake, Need for Speed 2, MS Flight Simulator - the start of my PC game list... Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam (even thought it wasn't that great), Battlefield 2, & BF Play 4 Free... Orbiter - a free space flight sim that's great Diablo, Diablo II, Dungeon Siege
That's all I can think of for now. | |

| I really mean "all time": Chess Monopoly (I like various computer clones more than the original) Sokoban Other not so favorite games: Elder Scroll (have high hopes for Skyrim) Dungeon Siege (too bad they severely limited the group size in DS3. IIRC DS1 has 4 and DS2 has Wyvern (not very massive MMORPG. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyvern_%28video_game%29 . Liked it for its potential, but left many years ago for some of the abusive wizards/admins.) Land of Sorren (land building+warfare sim. Pay-to-play killed it many years ago) C&C / Starcraft (I like the semi destructible environment in C&C series but the game play is too slow) Many JRPGs with turned based board game-like battles | |

| I have to add another on I almost forgot about....
Mech Warrior 2 !!!!!!!!
In one modem-to-modem match against my father in law I beat him in about 12 seconds flat. He was in a mech twice my tonnage, but I hit him with missiles, a few laser pulses, my chain gun, the rail gun, and finished him off with more missiles. I almost blew myself up from the heat, but I finished him off pretty quick. In the chat I asked him something (after the match), and his only reply was "Shut up and play"... LOL
Hey Grandpa... I remember Q-Bert. Loved playing it, but I was never that good at it. Too bad you are in Canada... would love to play some Axis & Allies. I used to play, a LOT, with my father in law and brother in law. We would have marathon sessions of 8+ hours! My brother in law was also into other turn based strategy games, mostly based around WWII. Those games would last several weekends because of the depth in the games.
